The BaTonga tribe from Zimbabwe have been making baskets from the Ilala Palm leaves for centuries and are very well known for their weaving skills. Traditionally, used for carrying maize or sorghum from harvesting in the fields. These baskets are all individually hand woven, each one will have a unique design.
60 - 65H cm. / 23-25" Please note these baskets are measured from the top of the basket around the side to the bottom and then to the middle of the base of the basket.
