The Bogolan mud cloth comes from Mali and is handmade fabric that is traditionally dyed with mud and leaves. These mud cloths are made from strips of the fabric which are put together to form one large "blanket". The fabric is usually made by the men in the families and the woman are responsible for putting the strips together and the dying process. Each mud cloth is made by hand therefore they are always unique and prints or designs will vary.
Wash by hand / dry clean.
All mudcloths are individually hand spun, hand woven, and hand painted.
Due to the handmade nature, the textiles may have inconsistencies and imperfections.
