The wonderful people of Mali gifted us all with their beautiful artwork in the form of the mudcloth. We have taken it a step further and created a unique lounger beanbag which are fantastically comfortable.

The mudcloth is handmade strips of cotton fabric which have been stitched together and then dyed with mud, leaves and roots.

Inner casing made from cotton with zipper closure. Easy to fill.

The back of the mudcloth is supported with fusible material to make it strong and durable.

Bean bag filling only available for orders to be delivered in South Africa.

You need approximately 3kg / 6.6pounds of Polyballs to fill the bean bag. You can use google to find these beanbag balls - search "beanbag refill" or "polystyrene beads.

Care Instructions:

You can handwash your mudcloth items with a natural soap (no bleach or harsh detergents) in a basin of cold water. Do not scrub your cloth, Rinse in clean cold water. Very gently press out excess water, do not twist to remove the water, it will lose its shape. We suggest using an old towel to absorb excess water. Lay your mudcloth on a flat surface to dry. You can safely iron this product on the cotton setting.
