No two pieces are the same due to these being handmade natural products.  Colour, texture, cracks and grain form part of the natural beauty.  These products can change with their surroundings. Wood will contract or expand in the heat, wet or cold weather.  That being said cracks and colour may change over time.  We suggest you seal your product if it is going to be in a sunny spot and if used on an undercover patio.
