The Tonga tribe are renowned for their amazing weaving ability. These baskets commonly know as  Binga baskets come from rural Northern Zimbabwe and are weaved out of ilala palm tree and dyed naturally using the bark and roots of the tree. 

We have designed this beautiful light feature using the Binga basket and attaching an assortment of beautiful coloured glass beads. The beads are first attached onto cotton thread and then securely attached to the basket.

Basket size will vary and can be anywhere between :+/- 45-60cm /  17.5" -23.5" (measured around the top of the basket not the diameter)

SA. orders: You will have option to order electrical fitting. 

Available electrical material cable: black, brown, yellow / celing cup option: black or anitque brass

International Orders: No electrical fittings to be supplied
